Closure of Manga Planet’s Digital Platform: Transfer of Purchased Titles to Renta!
Transfers will be opt-in and limited to purchased chapters/volumes; some titles may not be eligible due to publisher agreements or purchase model.

As announced on October 1st, Manga Planet will close its digital service at the end of March 2026. The Manga Planet Team understands the concerns of the platform closing and have been working to find a solution that alleviates some of our readers’ worries.
That is why we are pleased to announce that Renta! (ebookrenta.com) are working with us to transfer readers’ Manga Planet purchases to Renta! for continued access to read on Renta! platform.
Please note: The transfer will be on an opt-in basis.
Only chapters/volumes that a reader has purchased will be eligible for transfer.
The transfer will not include works that were read with a Manga Planet Pass.
Due to some publishers’ agreements, not all works will be eligible for transfer.
If you wish to transfer your Manga Planet library to Renta!, please follow these steps:
| ・BEFORE March 31, 2026: | Log in to Manga Planet and ensure your registered email address is correct. Manga Planet will close on March 31, and you will no longer be able to access your account or change your details after this date.
This transfer is only possible via a unique link sent to the registered email on MANGA PLANET. |
| ・April 13, 2026: | If you have purchased works that will be transferred to Renta!, you will receive an official email from Manga Planet containing the specific details and the link required to initiate the library transfer.
Details on which titles will be transferred will be included in this email. |
| ・Until July 31, 2026: | You will have until the end of July to complete the transfer process using that email. |
Those who complete the above process will be able to have access to their digital library on Renta!
Although we understand that this transfer does not include ALL works available on Manga Planet, we are grateful to our readers for your support and patience, as well as to Renta! who are cooperating with us and working hard to deliver English manga to the world.
