Chie Shinkyu’s Nekobitashi: The Daily Life of Chie and Her Cats by Chie Shinkyu 

Chapter 11 BORED –
Chie may be spoiling Sen rotten with nice toys and stuff, but there are two broad categories of things that Sen would rather sink his teeth into: stuff Chie uses around the house, and Chie herself…!

Chapter 12 TAKEN AWAY –
It’s probably time for Sen to get neutered. Is everything that Chie has read telling the truth – do cats get mellower after being neutered? Guess there’s only one way to find out!

Story Summary:
After mourning the loss of her beloved feline companion Suu, manga artist and cat mom Chie Shinkyu decides to turn over a new leaf and find herself a new baby to love! Following a tip from her brother-in-law, Chie picks up the stray she calls “Sen” and takes him home with her. Surely nothing’s going to go wrong… right?

Sota once again finds himself in another awkward situation, but why is Nekota the one who looks like he went to hell and back…?

Story Summary:
There are three sisters in the Mikumagawa family: calm, relaxed college student Manaka, the quite rough-spoken (?) high-schooler Rinka, and the youngest Yuuka, a smart young girl who can recite the succession of shoguns in the bath. With a family like this, every day is a little adventure!

Chapter 4 –
Chihiro and Ayumu have their first doubles match against a pair of soft-spoken housewives. But don’t underestimate them!

Story Summary:
After a horrible one-sided match with a genius badminton player, Ayumu swears to quit playing the sport he loves. But what happens when he gets into the same high school as the genius who defeated him? Will he ever get his chance to shine? Nothing is impossible in a sport where smashes can go as fast as 400kph!

CIRCLE 15 HOUTAROU 1 –
After Ishigaki says a cryptic remark in his dreams, Fuuta can’t help but think that he has to figure out what he did in the past. But East comes up to Fuuta with a warning – he shouldn’t go through his past lives anymore!

CIRCLE 16 HOUTAROU 2 –
Royal polisher Houtarou gets kidnapped by a bunch of wandering samurai. Who sent them after him, and who got him a ninja bodyguard?

Story Summary:
Fuuta Okeya’s dad said second-year middle school students are unstoppable, and Fuuta’s inclined to agree. He’s determined to make the most out of his ordinary student life, but everything changes when the mysterious Kouko Ishigami transfers into his class. Not just because Fuuta thinks she’s pretty and likes her – but because she thinks Fuuta is her rival from a past life!

 

Baby Zoccha by Yumi Ikefuji

Screen 11 –
The kittens’ only job is to eat, sleep, and play well. Mom said so, so it must be true. But will she end up eating her words when she realizes where exactly they’ve started playing?

Story Summary:
Before a cat becomes a cat, it’s a kitten. From the moment Milly gives birth to her first litter, both she and her children have much to learn about the wide world they live in. Follow Milly and her fluffy, clumsy kittens as they grow through laughter and tears! A spin-off story to the popular series “Zoccha no Nichijou.”

Hibiki sets up the stage for the second-generation T1. How will Nene’s encounter with the beyerdynamic “idol” be, now that she’s been “produced”?

Story Summary:
Lured by a shady note into an empty music room, Nene opens the door to find… a pair of headphones? But not just any pair of headphones, a luxurious pair of headphones that had helped popular musicians the world over create beautiful music! Listening to her favorite song through them awakens Nene’s love for headphones, but one more question – who brought her here?

 

The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior by Ruri Miyahara

Volume 3, Chapter 2 –
Usa has a very important mission – he has to save Ritsu from the very creepy…centipede? Before he gets to it, though, he has to first breach Kawai Complex’s forbidden area – the girls’ rooms!

Volume 3, Chapter 3 –
Working at the cafe is nice, but Usa really wants to stop being the freak show ringleader right now, thanks very much! But when an old friend realizes the error of her ways, will he still find it in himself to forgive her?

Volume 3, Chapter 4 –
Chinatsu graces the Kawai Complex once again with a simple request: she wants Shiro to be her art project partner! Along the way, she tells Ritsu some obvious truths about her and Usa. How will she take it?

Story Summary:
Thanks to his parents’ job transfer, Usa has to live on his own. The problem is, his new place is full of weird people, and the upperclassman he admires is one of them…? A teenage romance comedy that’s heavier on the humor, not so much on the romance!

 

Chilling Messages by Masaya Hokazono

New Eerie Mysteries – Idol Ghost Story Showdown –
Hokazono-sensei reconnects with Kato, the guy whose company made a stage adaptation of his Red Book. He’s got an idea for him: what if they have a tie-up event with idol group Akamaru Dash?

Story Summary:
A collection of four-panel comics where Masaya Hokazono talks about the toils and travails of being a horror manga artist. In this light-hearted romp through his day job, he tackles things such as reader-submitted ghost stories, the terrors of social media disapproval, hospital experiences, real fake psychics, and what may be the scariest things of all – his fellows in the horror manga industry!

 

Nuku-Nuku Final -I Love My Cat- by Naomi Akimoto 

PART 11 –
Cats are dangerous during the winter. How much of a danger are they? Let Yamada and Shima count all the ways.

PART 12 –
Shima’s a cutie who can pull super-cute faces, but if you wanna see them, you’re out of luck. She only shows them to people who couldn’t care any less – too bad, Yamada thinks!

Story Summary:
A warm and fluffy slice-of-life comedy depicting Yamada and his beloved pet cat Shima’s preciously ordinary daily lives.

 

SoreMachi: And Yet the Town Moves by Masakazu Ishiguro

CHAPTER 22 ONE OR EIGHT –
Gran takes Tatsun with her to the dry cleaners. Is it really alright for them to leave Hotori all by herself? What’s she supposed to do when a customer comes along?

CHAPTER 23 SAVE SANTA’S DREAM –
Hotori’s younger sister Yukiko still believes in Santa Claus. Will she finally realize the truth of the world this year, or does Hotori’s family still have some tricks up their sleeve?

CHAPTER 24 DETECTIVE GIRLS –
Tatsun’s at her last straw when Hotori keeps messing with the Maid Cafe Seaside website. Apparently she got Sanada to help with this though, so…maybe it’s not so bad after all?

Story Summary:
There is a small maid cafe that nearly nobody goes to – Maid Cafe Seaside, quiet enough for Sanada to do his homework in. His airheaded classmate and childhood friend Arashiyama works as the cafe’s only maid, and though she looks just like a cute maid waitress, she sure doesn’t act like one. What happens when her friends stop by for a visit?

 

VIENNA CONNECTION by Rie Takase 

Intermission –
Takase-sensei tells us how Vienna Connection came to be. Meanwhile, in the doodles in the margins, Urs goes shopping…

Story Summary:
Newbie director Urs Kaufmann is busy working on the script to a C-class porno requested by the Mafia, alongside his co-author Dieter Brenner. All seems well until one day, the Mafia boss they’ve been working for summons Urs to let him know that Dieter ran off with the film budget – a whopping 30,000 euros! Urs rushes off to find where Dieter went, but the Mafia has other plans, sending off their seasoned hitman, Leo!

Inugami Kai by Masaya Hokazono

CHAPTER 67 CHILDREN –
“Let’s stay as children forever,” Fumiki offers Mika, but does she even want to? A pair of siblings were given this same offer in the past, but whose answer will she end up choosing?

CHAPTER 68 TO REMAIN MYSELF –
Fumiki and Kiryu face off against one another, with the fate of the entire world on the line. When Kiryu takes on a truly horrifying form, what should Fumiki become in order to defeat him?

Summary:
A story of a dog and a boy but not in the ways one may think. The only things the dog Inugami knows about himself and his past are his abilities to heal quickly, grow blades from his back, and that someone somewhere once told him to watch over humanity. Being surrounded by humans who yearn to capture his powers for their own ulterior motives makes him question what use there is in protecting such a terrible species…until he stumbles upon the young man Fumiki in an abandoned building and becomes his friend.

 

My First Cat by Shihoko Shimura 

CHAPTER 11 NAMES –
Eiko brings Nakka to the vet for the very first time for a very routine round of vaccines and finds herself extremely culture shocked – they call her Nakka’s “mommy” here!

CHAPTER 12 OUTING –
Nakka has a new hobby – staring out of Eiko’s apartment window. Maybe Nakka wants to go out? Eiko’s not sure, but she’ll give it a try!

Story Summary:
Office worker Eiko has been doing just fine – she works an ordinary job, lives an ordinary life, but a chance encounter threw her all the way out of her comfort zone and led to her adopting a cat. Will she ever get used to having strong feelings and making her own decisions for the first time in her life? A story of a typical woman and a typical cat who find a new home in each other.

Please Help Me Maohsama by Futago Minaduki 

HELP 11 –
Someone’s in the Demon Lord’s castle! But didn’t the Hero’s party already do away with him? This isn’t the most of the Hero’s problems, however; Mau’s gone missing!

HELP 12 –
The Hero’s party and Mau finally reunite with the Wizard. Is he here to exact revenge on the Hero once and for all? Why does he have potato bombs?

Story Summary:
Once upon a time, a fearsome demon king died at the hands of brave heroes, returning peace throughout the world. While the demon king themselves had passed away, traces of their power remain on the outskirts of the city. One of the heroes who slew the demon king continues on his quest to protect humanity, but what happens when a demon child gets attached to him?

 

Sun-Ken Rock by Boichi

Level.22 –
Ken races against time to save Yumin from her would-be assaulters. How much is he willing to let his members know? How much is he willing to let her know? And why on earth does Yumin have a tattoo?

Level. 23 –
Yumin tells Ken all about her past and the blood that had been spilled to keep her safe for her father’s dream. Being a police officer had been her way of fighting back – but how much longer can she run from her family?

Level. 24 –
After hearing of Yumin’s past, Ken thinks he has to return the favor. Will he finally admit that he’s become a part of the Jopok – the gangs she had promised to take down?

Story Summary:
Delinquent Ken goes to Korea to follow the girl he loves and to become a police officer by her side. His dropout status and nationality don’t do him any favors. Still, after protecting a roadside vendor one night, he gets an offer from the opposite side of the law – join this guy’s “geondal,” a Korean mafia group, as its new boss!

The Death Bureau has to keep intruders away from the conference, but what if they’ve blended in so well that nobody can tell them apart?

Story Summary:
When a person dies, their soul turns into a butterfly and flies away. Holding the thoughts and consciousness of the deceased, this butterfly can last for 49 days before fading away completely. In this world, the Death Bureau, a national agency that collects and freezes dead souls’ butterflies, lets the family of the deceased interact with the data in their relative’s butterfly through a 3D hologram. Their duty also includes making sure butterflies don’t end up in the wrong hands – without killing or getting killed!

Altea, an old friend, comes back to visit Nathaniel and Seiichiro during the Star Festival. Will his song call forth a shooting star?

Story Summary:
On the planet Raguna, there is a music festival. With Leader at its helm, the musical group “Karriot” is brought to life by Gaia’s organ, Freya’s guitar, Seiichiro’s mandolin, and Nathaniel’s pipe…but his pipe isn’t just any ordinary pipe! Not all cats are the same, but they’re all lovable and cute in their own ways. In this autobiographical series, Ikuemi-sensei takes us through the Ikuemi family’s long history of cat parenting, starting all the way back from their cat “king,” the majestic Kiyo.

Despite thinking she really shouldn’t get involved with this, Kousaka can’t turn her back on Tohmine and decides to help. But this brings forth a chain of events that might terrorize their future… This volume also includes the story “Insectoid Summer,” where high school girl Kanako stays with her lover despite him taking on the body of an insect.

Story Summary:
In a world where aliens live harmoniously with humans, there exists a kind of alien that doesn’t need to “eat” the way humans do. Hailing from the impoverished planet of Chlorodium #2, where food is a luxury, these aliens live by inhaling microorganisms from the air. Kumika, an uptight, earnest office worker, is one such alien from Chlorodium #2. When a sudden cold leads to her being unable to “feed” herself her usual way, her coworker Chihiro comes to her rescue with a nice warm pot of udon noodles! After a lifetime of never having to eat human food, will Kumika ever get used to getting “hungry”?

Story Summary:
People always say they wish their pets could speak, but do they really mean it? When a woman in her late thirties gets dumped by her boyfriend of eight years, she adopts a cat on a whim, but she definitely wasn’t expecting the cat to call her out on her life choices!

Ryugu is a small town under the sea. Aside from the fact that everything is, well, underwater, it’s just like every other small town. Classmates Masora and Sumire are like every other middle school girls, swapping love stories and hanging out in shopping malls. But for some reason, Sumire feels like this “ordinary life” is all going to come crashing down…

When three young Braves offer him a majestic sum to be their private tutor, he agrees solely for the money – but is it worth what he’s getting himself into?
