Moyoko Anno Original Picture Exhibition ANNORMAL: 7/1-9/22

“Moyoko Anno Exhibition ANNORMAL” will be held at Setagaya Literary Museum. Over 500 drawings by Moyoko Anno will be featured. Moyoko Anno is known for titles such as Hataraki Man, Sakuran, Happy Mania, and Sugar Sugar Rune.

Doraemon 50th Anniversary “Doraemon by Grade Exhibition: We Who Grew Up Together with Nobita”: 7/21-2/28

A new original exhibition will be held at Fujiko F. Fujio Furusato Gallery to celebrate the 50th anniversary of “Doraemon”. In the exhibition, you can enjoy original drawings of the six Doraemon works that were released in the same month of the same year.

Hisashi Sekiya and the Era of Sports Manga Overtime: Another Shounen Manga History: 7/18-9/13

The exhibition will look back on the work of Hisashi Sekiya (1928-2000), a shounen manga artist from Kitakyushu who was active during the golden age of monthly shounen manga.
Hisashi Sekiya started working for a newspaper company after the war and continued drawing until his later years. Of the 16,000 artworks in the museum, 250 selected artworks will be on display to showcase the appeal of his works.

Dengeki Bunko Super Appreciation Fair 2020 in Animate: 8/7-9/30

“Dengeki Bunko Super Appreciation Fair 2020” will be held in bookstores across Japan. Animate will also be participating in the fair. Along with the nationwide fair specials, Animate will also prepare limited benefits. During the fair period, an illustration card (13 types) will be given with every purchase of eligible products.

Comic Cune 5th Anniversary Fair in Animate Shibuya: 8/8-9/13

To celebrate the 5th Anniversary of Comic Cune, a fair will be held at Animate Shibuya. During the fair, special 5th-anniversary products will be on sale. You can also participate in the special lottery by exchanging fair point receipts (1P) from purchasing the target products. The prize is a signed mini shikishi.

Hakusensha Fair 2020: 8/20-9/17

Animate will be holding the Hakusensha Fair 2020. During the fair, a 1P fair point will be given for every eligible product purchased.
For magazines and paradise books, 2P points will be given for each copy.
You can receive a 16-page booklet (2 types: Girl’s Side and Men’s Side) in exchange for 3P fair points.

Shaman King 20th Anniversary Exhibition Return to Tokyo: 9/4-13

An original artwork exhibition will be held in Tokyo to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Shaman King.

Last entry is 30 minutes before closing.
*Closes at 17:30 on the last day.
*Business hours may change depending on the situation
*Tickets with designated entry date will be sold
*Admission is not on a turnover basis
*Event may be suddenly canceled due to the spread of the new coronavirus. Operation status information will be posted on the official Twitter and the event website.
*Except for a few stores, Alpa and Sunshine City Alta will be closed on September 7 (Mon) but the exhibit will be open as usual.

Popular manga series Hetalia World★Stars will be collaborating with Animate Cafe Ikebukuro. Character themed food and drinks will be available. Limited goods will be on sale as well.

Asumiko Nakamura Debut 20th Anniversary Exhibition: 9/26-10/12

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Asumiko Nakamura’s debut, an exhibition featuring about 120 original drawings selected by Nakamura-sensei herself will be held. Explanations about the works and other valuable work materials will be on display. Exhibition commemorative goods will be available, as well as a limited-time collaboration menu.
