Manga Events June 2020: Manga Planet Listing

It’s the start of the rainy season here in Japan! With businesses in Japan slowly reopening after the state of emergency has been lifted, we have listed down the manga events happening in different parts of Japan this June 2020.
Please note that some of the events may be postponed or canceled without prior notice as a measure to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.
Rurouni Kenshin 25th Anniversary Exhibition: Apr 24-June 7 in Tokyo

An exhibition for the 25th Anniversary of Rurouni Kenshin will be held in Tokyo Dome City Gallery AaMo. An unprecedented scale of original and colored manuscripts depicting Kenshin and other fascinating characters will be on display.

Moyoko Anno Original Picture Exhibition ANNORMAL: Apr 25-June 28 in Tokyo
『安野モヨコ展 ANNORMAL(アンノーマル)』キービジュアル公開です!
安野モヨコが描いてきた作品世界を500点超の原画でたどる展覧会になります。

“Moyoko Anno Exhibition ANNORMAL” will be held at the Setagaya Literary Museum. Over 500 drawings by Moyoko Anno will be featured. Moyoko Anno is known for titles such as Hataraki Man, Sakuran, Happy Mania, and Sugar Sugar Rune.

In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the manga Drifters on April 23, 2020, an exhibition of original manuscripts will be held at the Satsuma Kinzangura. A limited version Drifters “Shimazu Toyohisa” collaboration umeshu will be released.

Kyoto International Manga Museum will be holding “Kosaku Shima~Shiki~ Kenshi Hirokane Original Picture Exhibition.” In the exhibition, the original copy of the Kosaku Shima series set in Kyoto, along with the work Hirokane-sensei donated, will be on display.
