Atsushi Kamijo “Eve” Exhibition: Nov 23-Dec 4, 2019 in Tokyo

In November 2013, Atsushi Kamijo’s “Eve” exhibition was held for the first time. This exhibition will be held again in Kichijoji.

Shaman King Exhibition: Nov 23-Dec 4, 2019 in Tokyo

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the publication of the Shaman King, an exhibition of original artworks will be held in Tokyo, Osaka and Aomori, respectively.

Rengoku ni Warau Exhibition: Nov 9-Dec 8, 2019 in Shiga and Otsu

Original artwork of KARAKARA Kemuri’s Rengoku ni Warau, which depicts Shiga and Otsu in the Sengoku period will be on display for limited period of time.

The exhibition of original artworks from the popular fantasy manga Drifters, starring Toyohisa Shimazu, will be held in Aira City, Kagoshima Prefecture.

An exhibition of Haruhisa Nakata’s original artworks will be held to commemorate anime adaptation of his work Levius. In addition to line arts from Levius and Levius/est, color and monochrome illustrations will also be on display.

Rurouni Kenshin Special Exhibit: Aug 1-Dec 15, 2019 in Aichi

A special exhibit of the Rurouni Kenshin -Meiji Kenkaku Romantan- and Rurouni Kenshin -Meiji Kenkaku Romantan: Hokkaido-hen- with a showcase of historical items from the Edo Bakumatsu to early Meiji Period including an actual sakabatou, or a reverse-edged sword which the protogonist Kenshin Himura is known for. A stamp rally, collaboration cafe and original goods will also be available.

Hakaba’s Monmonmon Exhibition: Nov 27- Dec 17, 2019 in Tokyo

An exhibition of the original artworks Monmonmon, Japan’s representative “monkey manga” will be held at the Gallery of Hakaba in Nakano. Exclusive merchandise will also be sold.
An autograph session of the artist Tsunomaru will be held on December 8.

Yukari Ichijou’s 50th Anniversary Exhibition: Nov 29- Dec 22, 2019 in Aichi

An exhibition of original artworks commemorating Yukari Ichijou’s 50th Anniversary since her debut on Shueisha, will be held at the Aichi Culture Forum Kasugai. This exhibition will cover from her early works to her representative works such as Suna no Shiro, Yuukan Kurabu, Tadashii Renai no Susume, Pride and Designer. More than 200 original drawings and materials will be open to the public. Original exclusive goods will also be released.

Aooni Yamane 70th Anniversary Exhibition 2019: Nov 30- Dec 22, 2019 in Tokyo

Source: Japan Cartoonists Association

Aooni Yamane, known for works such as Dekochin, Meitantei Kageman, and Oyaji Banzai will hold an exhibition to commemorate his 70th anniversary as an artist.
A talk show will also be held on December 8, and autograph sessions every Sunday from 2-3PM.

To celebrate the 65th Anniversary of Kodansha’s popular shojo manga magazine Nakayoshi, a special exhibition of artworks of popular manga titles such as Princess Knight by Tezuka Osamu, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon by Naoko Takeuchi, Magic Knight Rayearth and Card Captor Sakura by CLAMP among others.

An exhibition will be held to celebrate the 20th year of Hiroshi Todo as a manga artist. He has made number of hit works, including Yura COLORS, which is set in his hometown Yura, a fisherman’s town from Sumoto City, and Nobunaga wo Koroshita Otoko (Author: Kenzaburou AKECHI), which is currently being serialized in the manga magazine Bessatsu Young Champion.

Inu × Boku SS – Cocoa Fujiwara Cafe: Oct 9-Jan 13, 2020 in Osaka and Nagoya

To celebrate Gangan JOKER’s 10th Anniversary, Square Enix teams up with Anipara Cafe to bring you the Inu × Boku SS – Cocoa Fujiwara Cafe in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya.
Aside from an original menu, the cafe will also sell original merchandise produced especially for the cafe.

Osamu Tezuka’s Nyanko Exhibition: Nov 1, 2019-Jan 31, 2020 in Hyogo

This is a special exhibition drawn by Osamu Tezuka that focuses on charming, comical and sometimes mean cats. There are various types of cats that appear in Tezuka Manga such as Hello! Chippo, Shammy 1000, The Green Cat, Okesa no Hyoroku, and others.
