Jump into the New Year with Jump Festa 2019

Shueisha, the famed Japanese publisher behind popular shonen manga, hosted Jump Festa 2019 from December 22 to 23, 2018 in Makuhari Messe. Over the course of this event, fans of ONE PIECE, My Hero Academia, Hunter x Hunter, and many more series gathered for this annual Jump celebration. Manga Planet had the opportunity to attend this high energy convention and take photos for all our fans!
What is Jump Festa!
“A dream festival where you can see, play, and get!”
Above is the description from the official website of Jump Festa, an annual exposition held in Japan and produced by Shueisha. Much like this official copy states, fans of series published in Weekly Shonen Jump, Shonen Jump+, V Jump, Jump Square, and Saikyo Jump can “see” exclusive exhibits, stage events and panels, “play” the latest Jump games, and “get” limited edition merchandise. Shueisha started Jump Festa in 1999 and the event has grown every year with more and more participation from game companies like KLab Games, Square Enix, and Nintendo as well as animation studios like Toei Animation and Toho Animation.
Although based on manga properties, Jump Festa brings a little bit of everything for manga, anime, and game fans alike.
